Essential Ingredients:
Base Ingredients:
2 cups almond meal
1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
1/4 cup cacao powder
1/4 cup Maple syrup
Middle ingredients:
1 x Coconut Bomb Mousse
Top layer ingredients :
100g Dark Chocolate
1 tbsp coconut oil
Method:
Step 1
In a bowl, combine all base ingredients by mixing well. Place mixture in the fridge for 1 hour to set- makes shaping the cups easier. Place mixture evenly into muffin tins (mine were silicon) outlining the mould to produce a cup shape.
Step 2
Carefully spoon the mousse into the cups and use a knife to flatten the tops by scrapping the excess mousse off. Place in freezer to set for 2 hours.
Step 3
Finally, melt the dark chocolate with the coconut oil and poor over each cup to create a “lid”. Set in fridge further. Can be stored in fridge or freezer
